mentor(1) mentor(1)

NAME
mentor - a slew of algorithm animations

SYNTAX
mentor [-scale factor] [-xdrift x] [-ydrift y]

DESCRIPTION
The bulk of the software in this application was developed as part of
the 1992 and 1993 SRC Animation Festivals.

This application is not intended to be used by casual users. The Zeus
UI is not documented, and many of the algorithms are buggy. However,
for those "in the know", mentor(1) is useful, as it collects all of the
       Zeus into a single application.

The -scale parameter is used to enlarge or shrink the Zeus control
panel. For instance, "-scale .5" would be useful when running mentor
       with a single display.

The -xdrift and -ydrift parameters offset each view window when it is
restored from a snapshot. The default values of xdrift=0 and ydrift=24
are tuned for the SRC default tvtwm. This gross and embarrassing hack
       will disappear soon. I hope.

The Zeus home page (See the "See Also" below) gives a summary of the
animations that are part of the mentor application.
